One Cougar, three Lady Cougars, and one coach have been recognized as a part of the All-Region D Basketball teams, which were released Monday.
For the Cougars, senior Kyle O’Neal was selected as a member of the second unit as a guard. No other Pulaski County players were named on the list. The Region D Player of the Year is senior Omaundre Harris of EC Glass. The Region D Coach of the Year is DJ Best of EC Glass.
For the Lady Cougars, three players were recognized.
Seniors Keslyn Secrist and Paige Huff were selected as guards for the first team. Junior Hannah Keefer was selected as a first-team forward. Lady Cougar Head Coach Scott Ratcliff was selected as the Region D Coach of the Year. Sylvie Jackson was selected as the Region D Player of the Year.
Despite a complete team effort by the Lady Cougars throughout the season and playoffs to this point, no other Lady Cougars were named to the list.
