The Lady Cougar softball team celebrated Senior Night with some special recognitions before the game, but the Cave Spring Knights held on in the end to earn an 8-4 win over the homestanding Lady Cougars.

Seniors Paige Huff, Emily Webb, and Tori Vest were recognized, along with their families, for their many years of hard work and effort in the softball program.

It started with Victoria Hale reaching base on a Cave Spring error, the scoring on a double by Webb. Sydney Phibbs. Connected for a double of her own to score Webb, moving the score to 7-3.

That was all the Lady Cougars could find, however, and the game ended with a 4-8 loss to move Pulaski County to 6-6 on the season.
