Senior Message from Mr. Graham

Class of 2024:

As you begin to count the hours down to one of the most magical moments in your life, I wanted to share a few thoughts with you as you prepare to walk across the stage tomorrow evening to receive a well-deserved and valuable Pulaski County High School Diploma.

First, continue to be thankful to those who have loved you, cared for you and supported you during your educational journey, which seemed to begin just yesterday when you started your first day as a preschool or kindergarten student. Whether it has been your family, the Pulaski County Public School (PCPS) faculty and staff, classmates, friends or community members, please know that you have been and will continue to be loved, cared for and supported, even when you walk out of the door of Pulaski County High School for the last time as a PCPS student.

Next, please always remember that kindness matters. As I listened to Kameron’s speech at an outstanding Baccalaureate ceremony last night regarding the paths we can choose as individuals, I thought of how important it is for all of us to choose the path of kindness. I have observed this class and their efforts to be kind as seniors and leaders of the Pulaski County School System. You all represent the future and I am hopeful you will continue with your kind nature.

Lastly, I have known the Class of 2024 for less than a year as I began my tenure as superintendent of Pulaski County Public Schools this past July 1, 2023. In less than a year, I have seen the positive impact that this class has had on this wonderful school division and community. You are a special group who have achieved and succeeded at high levels during your tenure as Cougars. Thank you for valuing your education and making the most of your time in PCPS. Thank you for setting a role model for many other classes to follow as they try and reach a goal that you now know will become a reality in a very short time. Most of all, thank you for your hard work, dedication and commitment to being a Cougar, respecting yourself as well as your fellow classmates, and creating a pathway for future success as you move on to the next chapter in your life.

Congratulations Class of 2024! Best wishes for your future endeavors! Go Cougars!

Sincerely,

              Robert Graham
