PCPS 2022 Retirees


Thursday, May 5, Pulaski County Public School recognized several teachers, administrators and staff members who either have or will be retiring at the end of the school year.

Susie Melvin is retiring from her position as an HR Generalist at the School Board Office after two years. Dana Bragg, who once retired and returned, is retiring from his position as a Maintenance Technician after returning for an addition seven years after his initial retirement. Ingra Bell is retiring from her position as a Student Information Technology Specialist after 10 years in that position.

Two teachers are retiring after serving in their positions for 11 years. Shauna Bishop has served as a Special Education Para, most recently at Pulaski County Middle School. Donald Roseberry has served in the Transportation Department as a bus driver.

Rosita Perry is retiring from her position as a Teacher, most recently at Pulaski County Middle School, after 16 years.

Two employees are retiring after reaching the 20-year mark. Lisa Millen is retiring from her position as a Teacher, most recently at Riverlawn Elementary School. Debra Tatman is retiring from her position as a School Nurse, also most recently at Riverlawn Elementary.

Pamela Hodges is retiring after 30 years of service, most recently as a Special Education Para at Critzer Elementary School.

Eva Porterfield has retired after 33 years of service as an Office Assistant at Critzer Elementary School.

Finally, Robert Anderson is retiring after 43 years of service to Pulaski County Public Schools, most recently as a Media Specialist/Librarian at Pulaski County High School. Mr. Anderson also served as Band Director/Teacher during his time in PCPS.

“We are proud to pay tribute to these incredible individuals who have dedicated so much of their lives and energy to help create better lives for the children of Pulaski County,” Dr. Kevin Siers, Superintendent of Pulaski County Public Schools said. “I hope that each of you knows that we are likely going to spend years trying to bring your replacements up to speed on the level of dedication, professionalism and quality of service to our children that you have shown during your time with PCPS. I hope that your final few days with Pulaski County Public Schools prove to be the most enjoyable of your careers. Please leave here knowing that your efforts are appreciated and your rest has been well earned.”
