The Wilderness Road Regional Museum and Pulaski County Public Schools have partnered to provide all 4th grade students with an interactive local history experience titled "Fall on the Frontier" which will occur in October 2022. Students will be transported to the museum where they will learn about the village of Newbern including its role as the first county seat of Pulaski County, tour the grounds, and interact with historical interpreters to experience what life was like on the Virginia frontier. Our teachers, students, and administrators are incredibly excited about this event and we greatly appreciate everything that museum personnel are doing to make it happen. Hopefully, this is the first year of what will become an exciting tradition for Pulaski County students.
