PCHS alumni Addie Levy (left) was a part of the Dolly Parton Christmas special and appeared several times on national television during the Thursday night showing on NBC during prime time.
Congratulations to PCHS alumni Addie Levy!
Through her years at PCHS with the drama department and other groups, Addie became quite the musician and vocalist. She appeared in several productions for the drama department, where she used her acting and musical abilities to make the productions successful. She was also involved in several musical adventures, including being one of the singers and players in the group Gate 10 and being a big part of the GrapeJam program, helping teach students about traditional Appalachian music and instruments.
Thursday, December 1, Addie appeared several times on national television as a part of the Dolly Parton Christmas special, Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas, shown on NBC.
Addie has been a regular both in Dollywood, Nashville, and throughout the local area as both a singer and instrumentalist. She plays many different instruments and used that skill, her voice, and her acting abilities as a part of the PCHS drama department during her time at PCMS.
Addie is still a Pulaski County girl, despite spending a lot of time performing at Dollywood and other locations regularly. She can also be found working at the Rock House Marina/Mountain 2 Island when she’s in town.
Addie Levy is a fine example of what our young people can do when they have drive, determination, and are willing to work hard to reach their dreams.
Congratulations Addie! Once a Cougar, Always a Cougar!
